As there are many excellent pages with zillions of homeschooling web page links, I am focusing more on a few selected sites that have collected good links. Save some time this way.

One thing about the Web is that information is not unique. Many of these references can be found in other places. I have tried therefore to focus on some good quality sites to find extensive collections of homeschool links, as well as adding a few that I think merit particular attention. Enjoy.

Anne Zeise, the previous Mining Company guide, has continued her work in this new site. Lots of advice, links, discussion in areas across the whole area of homeschooling.
About.com - Homeschooling
This site looks to highlight selected offerings on the Internet. Features a real person (Beverly Hernandez) overseeing the site. Links to schools and resources are mixed with commentary and top 5% web page picks.
Crosswalk.com's Homeschool Site
A newer site with columns, information, news. forums, family safe searching, and much more. Has ties to HSLDA.
Home Education Press
The publisher of Home Education Magazine has a valuable web site. They have an archive of magazine articles and columns, and they also have books, more general information, links, and more resources.
Homeschool Academy
This site mixes vendor stuff and lots of information and links. Impressive.
Homeschool Central
An attractive and diverse site with about everything a homeschooler needs. Since 1996, providing news, a bookstore, state information, study resources and more.
Homeschool World
This is Mary Pride's Online site. It features her Homelife catalog, an archive of articles and such from Practical Homeschooling Magazine, organization information, and a unique Homeschool Mall, with dozens of products described and available for ordering - browse away, right from home.
The Homeschool Zone
An impressively varied and active site with resource info, discussions for moms, dads, and kids, etc.
The Internet and Homeschooling
Michele Tanis has crafted quite an offering for online homeschoolers. She has links to Message Boards, Newsgroups, Mailing Groups, Chats, Lesson Plans, and various other Resources
Kaleidoscapes
This diverse site, hosted by Karen Iuzzolino and Cafi Cohen, offers an active message board and lots of good information on curriculum, colleges, getting started and more.
Keeping It Catholic
A good collection of information for Catholic homeschoolers. Articles, links, etc.
Karl Bunday's "School is Dead" Site
Homeschooler's Curriculum Swap Special Sites
Karl Bunday has prepared some great reference pages with excellent booklists, defenses of homeschooling, responses to socialization questions and more. He deals with general education reform issues as well as colleges, and resources.
The oldest used curriculum site on the web. A wonderful site with much more than used curriculum swapping. There are how to's, links, a discussion forum, and more.
