If you'd like to know more about the play itself, let me refer you to the wonderful Gilbert and Sullivan Archive and to the Yeomen site within that Archive. These pages have plot summaries, music files, illustrations, and lots more.
For the serious inquirer or fancier of The Yeomen of the Guard, I recommend a stop at the Savoynet's Yeomen of the Guard Discussion Archive. There are serious and lighthearted discussions of: the missing songs, whether Jack Point really dies in the finale, the two sides of various characters, what happened in 1888 around the word, and MUCH more.

Yeomen is a wonderful show with outstanding music and more complex characters than in many of the other G&S plays. Oh, the show is still fun with the familiar topsy-turvy plot line which you will enjoy, but there may be the occasional more serious turn as well to add some zing to your experience.
The CG&SS production was excellent with a wonderful stage production of the Tower of London and the usual fine performance. There were familiar faces and new faces among the cast. John Knudsen as Jack Point gave a fine presentation and a moving ending scene. Laurie Weissbrot as Wilfrid Shadbolt was suitably loutish. Renee Molnar gave Elsie a vulnerable and warm side. Bill Sorensen as Col. Fairfax / Leonard Meryll gave his usual fine all around performance.
One picture of us in costume, on stage - take a look.
One scene where we were all on stage is shown here
Karol Ann and the girls are on the far left by the tower and I am the second Yeoman from the right.
The famous "I have a Song to Sing, O" is being done here. Becky is in a dark green skirt just to the left of the jester, Jack Point. The maiden, Elsie, is to the right.
Joanna is at the far left here.
I am in front here, the rightmost Yeoman, as we welcome Col. Fairfax, as Leonard Meryll to the company.
Lastly, here we all are after the show.
