As this Resource Guide has gotten larger and larger I worry that it may have become overwhelming. My first attempt at making the information more accessible was to break the entries down into the 10 subcategories that now exist. That is helpful, but some categories remain quite large. What to do?
I don't have a built in search tool on this simple, if large, page. But your web browser most likely has the ability to search this file for keywords. Internet Explorer uses a Edit/Find menu commands, for example. Netscape uses the Edit/Find in Page menu commands. If you take advantage of this capability you can find things pretty easily. Some items cross category lines after all.
To find just what you want, think through what you are looking for. If it fits into a subcategory, start there and see what you find. Most subcategories are of reasonable size. If you have a specific need, or are looking for a specific vendor, try using the browser's search capability and try to Find the keyword you have in mind.
Remember too that this web page is basically just a plain text file and can be saved as such. Once saved as a text file you can load it into a word processor and use the word processor's Find function to find keywords.
If that doesn't work, feel free to drop me an email (use the link built in at the beginning of the Guide web site) and see if I have any ideas. Good luck and good schooling.
