Veteran's Memorial Park
Located in Norwalk, Veteran's Memorial Park is on the water, it is not what we
would call a shoreline location.
It is a popular site for the locals and some of us who aren't so local.
Directions:
Exit 16 from 95, Follow East Ave. east (That's a left
if you were southbound, a right if northbound) under the railroad bridge, and
continue straight until you run out of road at the water. You are looking at
the park, but you must turn right to get there. Watch for gate entrance on
left. If that one is closed, continue to and thru light, and take first
entrance on left, go thru parking lot to field.
One tip: When flying, watch out for the light poles.
