Year of Evangelization

WELCOME HOME ! On behalf of the parish family at the Church of Christ the King, welcome home.  Maybe you’ve been away at school, moved out of town, new to the area, or just haven’t been here in a while.  It’s always great to see friends and family again.  This is especially true during the Christmas season when we give thanks for God’s blessings which include you.  If you’re visiting for the first time, a special welcome to you. We are so glad you answered God’s call to come home to Him. Please introduce yourself to me after Mass. I hope you will discover our community to be one of faith, growing in the mission and call of Jesus Christ.  Please check out the information on our bulletin and cover, visit the table in the back of the church, or our parish website but most of all, feel welcomed in God’s home, our home, your home.

Peace of Christ to you,

Fr. Codega,
and the family of Christ the King

Parish Mission Statement: (2007)
"The Church of Christ the King is a community of believers seeking to grow in the Faith of Jesus Christ through his Eucharist and by the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.  Located in Centreville, Rhode Island (on the Warwick / West Warwick town line) with roots in the Franco-American tradition, the Church of Christ the King welcomes all God’s people through Liturgy, sacraments, outreach to our neighbors in need, and by following the example of Jesus Christ.  Through words and actions we strive to meet the spiritual, physical and temporal needs of all generations, especially our young. By encouraging one another, we grow in faith and we demonstrate our life in the Holy Trinity by sharing the Good News of Jesus and by being an active voice in our society.  With God’s help, we remain a community united in Faith, Hope and Charity."
