Dear Parents,
It has been a pleasure to meet with you during Parent/Teacher Conference Week. The growth in your children over the past two months has been amazing. Please continue with the terrific support at home. In class, we have been busy. In Social Studies, we completed our first Unit: Families, Now and Long Ago. In Math, we have been working on Geometry and will begin a new unit on Word Problems. We are continuing to learn about Pebbles, Sand, and Silt for Science, and are taking a field trip to the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center to compliment our study. We have started a new literature unit titled Nature Walk. Have a great Thanksgiving and a wonderful New Year!
