The white background text above was taken directly from the free brochure that was distributed by the Bibb County Chamber of Commerce and the US Postal Service from the mid 1960's through the mid 1980's. Photos of the images were taken when the murals were still open to the public for daily viewing from 6 AM to 6 PM weekdays.
This also was a very popular item for local Boy Scout Groups and other tour groups through the mid 1980's.
