...my find of the year was The Revival by Max Yoho. This book brought tears to my eyes -- because I was laughing so hard! The storytelling is so real and heart-felt that I wanted to visit Epic, Kan., of the 1930s. One would think I was
getting royalties from this book the way I've been selling it to library patrons.

An Introduction
by Don Coldsmith

Nearly everyone who has read it then wants to buy a copy of their own or to give as a gift. I've heard raves about it from readers ranging in age from 26 to 96. It's that gem of a read that doesn't come along every day -- or even every year.

And for those fans out there, Max's second book, "Tales from Commanche County," is now available (no, I haven't read it yet. But it's next on my list!). A BIG thank you goes out to the state library consultant who told me this was
definitely a book to add to the library's collection.
