This isn't complete but it's what we have so far. Thanks, to my cousins, Baron von Everett
and Princess Julia Kay, for helping me with the research.
The names of living people will be left off this site. If I've made a mistake and put a name that shouldn't be here,
please let me know. If you have information that can help us

Alojzia (Antonia) Czampert
Antonia Czampert (her married name and ‘Landpert’ on the 1910 census) was born in Hungary around 1842.
By 1910, she had immigrated to the U.S. and was living in Cleveland, OH with her daughter,
and son-in-law, Josef Urbanek. Also in the home were her granddaughters, Helen Louise and Louise Mary
Czampert, the children of her son, and his wife Mary Radi. Her year of immigration is unknown and all I
know is that her parents were born in Hungary, she did not speak English, was widowed and had no U.S.
citizenship at the time of the 1910 census. She was the mother of six children but by then only two,
Janos and Louiza, were surviving.
Janos (John) Czampert and Maria (Mary) Radi Czampert
At 33, Janos Czampert arrived in New York, New York on board the USS Patricia
on July 17, 1902. It’s at this point that I lose track of him. Nothing is known about John and Mary except that
they had two daughters, Helen Louise and Louise Mary.
Both of John and Mary’s parents were born in Hungary and Mary apparently died not long after Louise was
born. The story that has been passed down is that shortly after his wife’s death, John immigrated to
the U.S., leaving his two daughters in the care of nuns. In 1903, he sent money back home and the girls
were put on a ship bound for the States. Now here's where I get confused...as you can see by viewing the ship's manifest, Janos had his wife with
him, Maria Czampert. Who was this Maria Czampert? It’s possible that his last name was changed once he
arrived but, his daughter Louise, my great-grandmother, continued to use Czampert.
Luiza (Louise) Czampert
Born in Hungary around 1868, she was the daughter of Antonia and sister of John. Around 1894 she married
Josef Urbanek, (born to Austrian parents about 1861) and together they immigrated to the U.S. in 1903.
Both being able to speak English, they settled in Cleveland where Louisa was a housewife and Josef
worked as a machinist in the automobile industry. They never had any children and Louisa died at the
family home, 4028 Muriel Ave in Cleveland, OH on or around April 3, 1936. Josef’s date of death is
unknown.
Roza (Rose, Rosa) Radi
Sister of Maria Radi. Born February 13, 1881 to Hungarian parents, she married Laszlo Falabu around the
year 1898. In 1904, they immigrated to the U.S. Their daughter, Theresa, was born at the turn of the
century and in 1910 both were able to speak English and Laszlo was the proprietor of a grocery. Rose
died in Ohio sometime between August 15 and August 23, 1966. Here's a story that was told to me by
Rose's great-grandson, "My great grandmother, Rose died when I was about 17 or so. The last place she
lived was Upper Sandusky, Ohio where she owned a large old home. A funny story, but sad at the same
time. Theresa and her mother lived in the big old house in Upper Sandusky and she owned a 1949 Oldsmobile. I went down to Upper, as it was called, when
I was 16 to help them sell their house and to assist with an auction of their property. When I was down there, some of the
local town's people asked me or my parents to intercede with the State of Ohio to have grandmothers driver's license revoked.
Apparently Rose was nearly blind, but still driving the Old Olds to the store. My grandmother Theresa would help steer and
guide great grandmother through the streets. It's lucky they never hit anybody. Theresa would say, 'I'm great-grandmother's eyes.'
And yes, my parents called the state DMV and she failed the eye exam."
Laszlo Falabu
Born in Hungary on Nov. 6, 1865 to Hunagarian parents, Laslo was a harness maker in Hungary
and immigrated on Aug. 22, 1914. In Ohio he owned a butcher shop for seven years and retired on real estate investments.
Those investments including apartment buildings, houses and a gas station, provided enough money for his
wife and daughter to live until both their deaths.
Theresa Falabu Ciprus
Daughter of Rose and Laszlo Falabu. She married Dr. Istvan Cziprus, seventeen years
her senior and had two children, one apparently dying of SIDS.
Stephen Ciprus
Died September 19, 1939. Father of Dr. Stephen Ciprus, Mary Asperger,
and Mrs. Sigmund Nitsch.
Istvan Cziprus
Stephen Ciprus was a secondary school teacher in Hungary, the equivalent of a college professor by today's
standards. He immigrated to Ohio, went to dental school and practiced in the Cleveland and Toledo areas
for many years. He died in April, 1959. As a dentist he was very innovative and was reputed to have
taught at Western Reserve University. Supposedly, he invented a number of casting techniques for gold
casting and did all of his own dental work on himself!
Helen Louise Czampert
Helen was born in Hungary about 1889 and immigrated to the US in 1903 with her younger sister, Louise Mary.
By 1915, she had married Alex Horky and in the following years had two sons, Alex Jr. and another who maybe
living. Helen
passed away in Ohio on September 6, 1949.
Alexander Horky
Alex Horky was born on February 3, 1893 and died in Ohio in June of 1965.
Julia Horky
Alexander's mother, Julia died on June 12, 1941.
Louise Mary Czampert
Born on September 15, 1896 in Budapest, Hungary, she was the youngest daughter of John and Mary Czampert.
In 1903 she arrived in the US with her sister Helen and by 1910 the two of them were living with relatives
in Cleveland, Ohio. In October of 1910, her address was the Notre Dame Convent on Buckeye Road in Cleveland
and her grandmother, Alojzia, was also living at an address on the same street. I don’t know what this
means. Also at the time, the family had a boarder, William Neubauer, 25, and sometime before 1915 he
and Louise married and had one daughter, Margaret. I don’t know if William Neubauer died or if they were
divorced but on January 1, 1921 Louise married William Emms (some of the documents I’ve come across refer
to the last name as Emm) and had another daughter, Theresa Eleanor. There was another child, Irene, who
died but I don’t know if Neubauer or Emms was her father, when she died or the circumstances. On June 24,
1924 William Emms filed for divorce. In 1930, Louise and her daughters were living with her uncle
Josef and aunt Louise and working as a milliner in a hat factory. The strange thing is the she was listed as
being ‘widowed’ on the census form- this is after she was divorced in 1924, and before she married her next
husband, Robert Irwin. She passed away on September 7, 1987 in Garden Grove, CA.

Wilhelmina
William Emms and John Emms’ (d. April 1961) mother.
William Emms
After divorcing Louise, he remarried and had a daughter, Ruth (her married name was Lowell). He passed away in
late October 1964.
Marguerite (Margaret) Neubauer
Sister of Theresa Emms. Father was William Neubauer. Married name Aterinis.
Theresa Eleanor Emms
Daughter of Louise Czampert. She was born on July 7, 1922 in Cleveland, OH. Sometime in the late 30's or
early 40's she married William Burt Everett and they had 2 sons. They were divorced in February, 1950.
Between the break up of her marriage to William and her later marriage to Forrest Dean Hawkins Rehders,
she gave birth to one more son, out of wedlock. On February 9, 2004, Theresa passed away in Riverside, CA.
Thomas Forrest Dean Hawkins Rehders
Born in Mineral Wells, TX, on December 21, 1919, Dean's history is something I'm working on with the help of his only child. On June 8, 1938, Dean graduated from Whittier
Union High School in Whittier, CA, and on October, 26, 1940, enlisted in the Army Air Corps. Dean married
Jo Marie Gallio Hurst on October 3, 1941 and had one son. They divorced in February 1947. Dean then met and
maried Marilyn Debes in May of 1949. They divorced and on November 12, 1953 he married Theresa E. Everett
in Bellflower, CA. Dean retired from the Army in 1966 and passed away in Garden Grove, CA on October 23, 1988.

Julius Ewert Everett
Born February 24, 1867, in West Prussia, he emmigrated to the United States with his wife, Wilhelmina, on
April 22, 1981. They settled in Cleveland, Ohio, and Julius became a naturalized citizen on October 22,
1896. At some point, the last name was changed from Ewert to Everett. A plasterer by trade, he worked
until he was 65 and passed away on
March 26, 1942 in Ohio. Supposedly, Julius was a cousin to Kaiser Wilhelm II and a member of his elite
personal guard, probably the Garde du Corps. Of course, back then the Germans called each other
cousin, no matter how distant the relation. As the story goes, Julius fell in love with a Polish beer
maid, Wilhelmina, which didn't sit well with the family at all. He was stripped of his title, cushy
military posting, and he and Wilhelmina went to the US. They arrived in Castle Garden, NY, aboard the
steamship Wiemar, however, there's no record of Minnie arriving with him.
Wilhelmina Barnowski Ewert
Born on October 13, 1871, she and Julius had 14 children. It's a point of contention in the family
as to what her maiden name was. Some say it was Barth and one of her sons' birth certificate says
Borkowski. Wilhelmina passed away November 23, 1938.
Ann Everett Tomlinson b. July 22, 1892
"She was married to Burt who passed before I was born
and they had no children. I think out of all the great aunts and uncles she was my favorite, so I have
a lot of good memories of her. She was very kind and loving, and although she didn't have a lot she always
had something for us kids, usually something she made at the senior center. She was very tiny- I don't
think she was over 5 feet tall. I remember she was always quick with a laugh and giggled a lot. She was
a sweetheart. She passed in 1986."
Edward Everett December 10, 1893-September 8, 1964
"He never married
and I do remember he had a good sense of humor. He had a wooden leg and would
let us kids knock on it and make jokes about it."
Edith Everett Halliwell b.July 24, 1885-1973, married William Halliwell
Emma Everett Smythe b. December 4, 1896-October 5,1966
Married Robert Smythe.
Wilma 'Minnie' Everett Kamis b. July 16, 1898
Elizabeth Everett Weinbrandt b. October 30, 1899
Julius Everett b. March 3, 1902-1981
Rumor has it that it was Julius that changed our name from Ewert to Everett due to the job he had but we
don't know what he did.
Walter Everett b.February 20, 1904
Married Margaret, had two children and passed away on December 14, 1957 in Miami, FL.
Martha & Helen Everett-twins b. October 9, 1905
Martha was the pistol of the family. Very opinionated and would let you know it if you did something
she disapproved of.
Elsie Everett Jedacek b. December 10, 1907-April 1985.
Married Steve Jedacek.
Arthur Everett b. March 15, 1911
Died when he was a year old.
Raymond Everett b. May 4, 1913-2001
Married to Marie, they had 2 sons. Marie died in 1961 of a blood clot and Raymond later remarried. He was a
very good baseball player and was asked to sign a contract playing fist base for the Brookly Dodgers.
Unfortunately, he could make more money as a police office so he joined the Cleveland Police Department
William Burt Everett b. September 9, 1916
Married to Theresa, two children. Later, remarried Elizabeth and had 4
children. William died in Andover, OH on April 30, 1971.
