Biography of Elliot Diamond


I have "walked between the worlds" as a doctor/acupuncturist and a musician.
In 1996, I released my medical practice to pursue my passion with music and
shamanic expression. I approach music as an expression of the rhythms and
harmonies of the earth and body. As an acupuncturist and shamanic quester,
I have learned to "see" and hear both the known and the unknown worlds and
to interpret them with equal importance. It is these universal experiences and
voicings that I offer to my musical endeavors.

I have been creating a unique blend of natural and synthesized sounds that have
been intricately woven into a multitude of sound tapestries. To this sound pallet
I add pulsing rhythms and harmonies.

I had the honor to be intimately emerged as a doctor/musician into the daily
lives and spiritual paths of several cultures. I was blessed to be permitted to
audio/video record many aspects of their cultural and spiritual expressions.
The soundscapes include incredible sounds of the land, the sky and the
unspoken mysteries, that can be just as profound as the verbal renderings.

The music represents a personal journey to sacred space. Enjoy!
