Dawn's House of Poetry Contest

Notice: This contest IS open to foreign (non US residents)

Dawn's House of Poetry is now offering a poetry contest designed
to raise funds for the web site. This contest will be held at least once
a year, possibly more, depending on the interest shown by our
visitors. Each contest will be category specific - anything from love
and friendship to nature and epic poetry.

Poets who wish to participate will pay a $2.50 entry fee for each
poem entered or $10 for 5 poems.

ALL FEES COLLECTED WILL BE SPLIT BETWEEN THE TOP 3 POETS.
 

1st Place will receive no less than $50
2nd Place will receive no less than $20
3rd Place will receive $10

The top 3 will also receive a certificate.

ALL entrants will have their poetry
published on Dawn's House of Poetry
permanently - unless otherwise stated
by the individual poets.

The winning entrants will be paid by
money order, cashier's check, or PayPal.

 
The amounts awarded to each winner will be based on how
many entries are received. Each contest will remain open until
a minimum of 30 poems ($150 in fees) have been collected. At
that point we will set a deadline for 30 days after that goal is
reached.

NOTE: Foreign entries will be accepted ONLY IF payment is sent via PayPal.
If a foreign entrant wins the contest - they will be paid through PayPal. This
will keep us from having to deal with rediculous currency conversion fees
and expensive International Money Orders. Thank You.
