Her haunting past,
will it forever last?
Is there hope
or will she forever grope?
Through the long dark nights,
into morning light,
Wandering from here to there,
having no one that could care.
Through nights of rain and thunder,
will her life always be in plunder?
Wandering the streets
accompanied by her life’s defeats,
Wondering if she should live on,
no one would miss her when she's gone.
Is it possible for someone to reach out and touch her
heart,
to give her love and a new start?
Is there anyone left in this world that could care,
to give her the love she'll need and share?
To give her back the life she’s lost
and remove all the pain in her soul it had cost.
