The Kind of Love

Love is inside me I know its there,
Somewhere, somehow I lost my flare.
I want the love and the passion too.
I want the kind of love that’s true.
The kind you read about in books.
The kind that makes observes take a second look.
I know I have it locked up inside,
But to release it, how I've tried.
Is it because I try too hard?
Or is true love just written in cards?
I want the love that burns you deep,
That passionately keeps you from your sleep.
Love is inside me, I know its there,
But somewhere, somehow I lost my flare.
