Dear Sister, my sister,
You are now gone.
Left me all alone, to carry on.
The days are slow without you here,
I miss you so much, my sister dear.
You are gone forever, but locked in my heart,
Saved in my memory as you were from the start.
When I am lonely I listen to the breeze,
And I can hear your laughter dancing in the trees.
I look all about and see images of you,
In the golden fields and skies so blue,
So dear Sister, my sister
You may be gone,
But now I know I must carry on.
