Life lessons are not taught in just one day,
But over a course of our life time.
The point of it being called life's lessons,
Is that it takes ones whole life to learn them.
As each day passes we learn new things,
We absorb them, and allow them to guide us.
Sometimes we make mistakes and take wrong turns,
And to that we say, a new lesson learned.
Some are hard to take and others easy,
But we are subconsciously guided by tiny lessons,
Taught to us long ago, or from watching others.
Either way we are always learning, always guided,
By life's little lessons.
