HOW CAN I HELP?

The need for food is constant. Non-perishable food items may be donated. In addition to canned goods of all kinds, there is a need for hot and cold cereals, juices, dry milk, spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, baby food, detergent, soap, toilet paper and diapers.

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO TO RELIEVE HUNGER IN MY COMMUNITY?

You may volunteer to collect and distribute food, stock shelves, answer the phone and staff the office.

WHY SHOULD I BE A VOLUNTEER?

Among other things: to use your experience, skill and wisdom to help your fellow man; to meet people and make new friends; to actively contribute to community life; to help those in need; and to lead a more active, dynamic life with the fulfillment of participation in the world around you.

I’M TOO BUSY TO VOLUNTEER, BUT I WANT TO HELP

Cash contributions help pay rent, utility and phone bills. They are also needed to purchase foods that are not donated.
