After
the 1997 break up of Featherbox, Damien re-emerged
on the live scene again with a band that was sure to last! Right?... wrong!
The
Strange Machine, was comprised of old Featherbox
band mates Eric Donaldson and Chris Zimmer, The
Phantoms’ ex-bass player Mike O’Rourke and
guitar wizard Zane Armstrong. This band only played three shows,
one of them being the annual Anne Rice Coven Party, and
recorded one cd! As fast as they came into existence they were gone! But
what did they leave us? Aside from three memorable live shows they recorded
a wonderful collection of songs!
