Spyder
didn't want a "singer/songwriter" feel so they decided to
approach space guitar guru Zane Armstrong. Zane
brought some of the more eclectic 70s feel to the project, the best
example being "Untitled (Love Song)." Zane's space
sounds, mixed with Damien's acoustic instrumentation and dark
string arrangements were the perfect blend for Spyder's brilliant
lyrics and soft eerie vocal delivery. |

After
one week the Surprise Symphony album was complete.
Spyder disappeared, Zane and Berkeley went
back to space and Damien stayed on the compound with the forest
people. |
