I've been rescuing my past from brittle tape decay and softening cardboard boxes. I've unearthed a lot of old recordings from my '80s band THE INSECT CHANDELIER. Today we threw together a myspace page for the project.

Keep in mind, I'm a teenager on some of these tracks. I'm sure my voice must sound younger, but I'm so daft... I promise I can't tell the difference. The music however, it's sloppy madness at times.

We didn't think or create with respect for genres. So it's an odd mix of psych garage and gothic. It's funny, my demographic has always been goths and psych heads and though both groups have loved and supported me over the years, they absolutely hated each other.

... and I thrive off of their mutual disdain :-)
