Genius,
guru film maker Alejandro Jodorowsky could well be my FAVORITE
film maker. He is a master of the abstract mind! So many times he has
wandered through the deserts of his/our subconscious and captures the
mirage! on film! Jodorowsky balances himself and walks sure footed
on the high wire that is the thin line between spiritual awakening and
total madness. There are tiny mirrors in his work, carefully placed so
that the watcher will catch quick glimpses of his own inner madness. but
Jodorowsky is not confronting these aspects of humanity, for
he is not at war with them, he's just simply pointing them out and then
smiling and patting you on the back. I would love to drink wine with this
gentleman and chat about the abstract lawns of the mind. But mostly I
think I would just listen.
