Please observe that their Great Society programs have cost our productive
citizens over five trillion dollars, but have resulted only in more poverty
and an admitted five trillion dollar third party debt. They have also squandered
over six trillion dollars more in F.I.C.A. trust funds, which they claim
are invested in trusts. Actually there is nothing in these so called trusts
but IOUs with our and our posterity's names signed to them, and the true
National Debt is over $20,000,000,000.
In essence the Democrats are actually Socialists trapped in an environment
wherein the electoral system is dependent upon capital. In this age of
very expensive advertising for political campaigns, only those with access
to massive quantities of money stand a chance of being elected to any major
office. Thus, although they endorse the failed philosophy of "From each
according to his ability, and to each according to his need", their members
can not be elected in this day and age without the support of capital.
Yet, have they not controlled congress for over forty years?
To accomplish this, those who have controlled the government of our country
for the past two generations have evolved two-tiered social and tax policies
that allow a failed socioeconomic philosophy to apparently be functional!
The Democrats have created and used their costly but counterproductive
social programs and the news media's endorsement of these, to convince
the majority of the people that these failed philosophies are actually
working to the advantage of the people. At the same time, and with the
assistance of the other party, they have crafted and improved tax laws
and policies that allow the very wealthy to avoid paying taxes on their
profits and incomes. Remember who funds all their campaigns?
At this point it is essential to recognize, according to leading economists
and the current Secretary of Labor, that over the last twenty-two years
about 60% of U.S. families have actually seen their standards of living
decline, even as wives have left home and gone to work, too! You must also
recognize that over this same time frame, the economy of the United States
has actually grown by over 30%. Is this evidence of successful government
policies? If so, whose government is it?
The congressional elections of 1994 were disastrous to the Democrats, as
the Republicans took control of both the House and the Senate. It is obvious
that the people recognized that government had failed them, and chose to
eject the Democrats. Although there have been many diverse conclusions
drawn from this event, it is obvious to me that most of the people actually
had only a single alternative, and only for that reason were Republicans
elected.
The Republican Party is admittedly the party of business, and essentially
embraces Capitalism. Their particular philosophy of Capitalism lies in
the vesting of all power in the hands of the very wealthy. With the help
of the Democrats in congress, they initiated and passed N.A.F.T.A. and
G.A.T.T. last year. Thereby did they all clearly demonstrate that they
and their collective political philosophies also embrace the exploitation
of labor, and the insidious, New World Order.
In the early 1980's under President Reagan, trickle down economics, which
further reduced taxes on the wealthy, was implemented. Since then, the
values reflected in the stock markets have grown by over 500%, even as
the standard of living for most American Citizens has continuously declined.
Now, the new, Republican Congress has enacted sweeping legislation that
begins the destruction of all of the Democrat social programs, and again
reduces taxes on the very wealthy. They have not, however, admitted that
the trusts contain no real assets, or that their tax and spend policies
will soon require the levels of taxation on most of the working people
of our country to approach 100% of their meager incomes.
Since most of the baby-boom generation have already been taxed to the point
that they have little or no savings, they will be decimated as the social
programs that have consumed a huge percentage of their incomes, collapse.
Suddenly one day, those who control the stock and bond markets will recognize
that when the real market, the people, have no more money to spend on goods
and services, supply side economics fails! This will almost immediately
plunge the entire globe into a deep depression, and result in the greatest
series of revolutions ever seen on the face of this earth. As things stand
now, there will be no winners!
Although I am sure that these traumatic events are inevitable, I do hope
and believe that the depth and magnitude of the damages to our country
and our people can be mitigated. This can happen only if brave and wise
men and women recognize the truth and the gravity of this situation, and
immediately begin to plan and implement prudent and effective remedial
actions.
Will you be among the bystanders and the victims, or are you ready to seek
and recognize the truth. Will you succumb to apathy, be a part of the problem,
or try to help develop solutions? The choice is yours to make, and time
is
indeed short.
