The Greatest Crime and The Greatest Hope

I have long agreed with all who blame the so-called mainstream "news media" for the problems that we face today. It is certainly not all their fault, but without their cooperation in dis-informing the masses, the world would certainly be a much better place. Millions of people would not have died for profit, and almost all of us would be far better off that we are now.

Perusing one of the blog sites a while ago, someone said, in effect, that most Americans simply are complacent and don't care what's happening in the U.S. and the world. Having contemplated this subject for many years, I believe this to be false.

The truth is that the so-called "news media" has through decades of mis-information created a false perspective of their country and the world, in the minds of most Americans. Most have listened to the news for many years, and formed their opinions based upon what those newsmen and newswomen told them. They trusted them to tell them the truth about all of the news that was important. The opposite has been happening for at least the last century and a half.

Now propaganda is news and news is propaganda.

No wonder people do not understand what is really happening! No wonder they are trapped in a web of deceit and manipulation contrary to their best interests!

Had the people known the truth, I seriously doubt that the U.S. Civil War and all of the other wars since then would have taken place.

Had the people known the truth, do you think the U.S. dollar would be a fiat currency based on debt and controlled, not by "our" government, but by greedy criminals?

Had the people known the truth, would the education system in the United States be abysmal, or would it be graduating the best informed and educated young people ever?

I could go on forever with the "had the people known" subjects, but I think everyone gets the idea.

Without the complicity of those in the "news media" all of the major wars could have avoided, as well as the suffering and deaths of millions of people in the past, now and in the future.

I look forward to a day when all of the people involved in mis-informing the peoples of the United States and the world are brought to justice. I look forward to their crimes being exposed for all to see. I long to see each and every one of them, from the owners and top management, to the reporters themselves, doing the "perp walk". Each and every one of them arrested, tried and convicted for their crimes against all people, by the people they lied to, and who were unable to make the right decisions and do the right thing because of those lies and omissions of facts.

Only when this is done can we begin to rebuild the United States into a truly strong and democratic nation. Only then can the peoples of the world live together in peace and harmony.

Let us focus more and more of our attention to exposing the "media" for the treacherous and criminal operation that it is.

When the purpose of "speech", as in the case of the "media", is to misinform and manipulate the reader or listener for profit and to serve greed, it is NOT free speech. It is very costly. To knowing spread lies and half-truths widely should be a crime, if it is not one already.

The Internet has given those of us who know much important truth much more knowledge, and the ability to share it with each other and all of the peoples of the world. Indeed, the Internet is instrumental in bringing about positive change in the world. Never before have so many been able to communicate with each other across the country and around the world. Never could we have dreamed only a few years ago that we could do this so easily and at such a low cost. We have begun that task. We are the first generation to have this ability. Let us not become discouraged, let us not believe those in "the media" who say our voices are unheard and we will fail, for they are liars.

Together, we are changing minds and creating hope for ourselves, our posterity, the peoples of the world and their posterity. This is the noblest of causes. We have no choice but to continue the battle, and to triumph!
