Be Very Afraid!

Even as their government strives to disarm the American People, they are preparing for a police state in the U.S.A.
(They are the greedy and selfish who have bought our news media and our government.)

If the so called "News Media" had any integrity at all, they would have presented this diabolical act as the top news every day until the people forced the government to rescind all elements of its creation.

"A Fearful Master"

October 15, 1999

A recent World Net Daily report chronicled the creation of a
brand new US military command. It is called the US Joint Forces
Command and is headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia. It takes the
place of the former US Atlantic Command. Normally, this kind of
event would be considered benign. This time, I’m not so sure.

With the assistance of Republicans in congress, changes have
been made to the Posse Comitatus Act that will "allow a broader
use of US military forces in a domestic law enforcement role…."
This new command will oversee this new domestic role of our US
military forces.

Secretary of Defense, William Cohen, is reported to have told
participants at the ceremony commemorating the new unit that
the American people should not fear the potential of seeing US
military forces on the streets of US cities. He said, "The
American people should not be concerned about it. They should
welcome it." Why do I not get a warm, fuzzy feeling?

Somehow, I cannot imagine Sam Adams and the boys welcoming a
decision by the federal government to use military forces
against civilians. Nor do I believe the American people today
should welcome such a decision.

The Founding Fathers knew well the proclivity of government to
become tyrannical. It is the nature of the beast. Washington
said, "Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is
force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful
master."

Without the safeguards of the Bill of Rights, the original
states would never have ratified the US Constitution. Central
to the preservation of individual liberty is the Second
Amendment. Jefferson said, "The strongest reason for the people
to retain their right to keep and bear arms is as a last resort
to protect themselves against tyranny in government."

During the past four decades some 20,000 restrictions and
prohibitions have been placed against the free access of
firearms. During that same period of time, the federal
government has created a federal police force numbering in the
hundreds of thousands. As their size and budgets have grown so
have their abuses. To this present hour not one federal agent
involved at Waco has been held accountable to the American
people or to our laws.

Now, we learn that our government is circumventing the Posse
Comitatus Act and planning to use military forces in domestic
disturbances. This is supposed to make us happy? I think not.
It would be far easier for the American people to defend
themselves against any would-be terrorist or domestic criminal
than against an out-of-control government that is drunk with
power!

That our government is officially preparing to use US military
forces in domestic law enforcement is nothing to celebrate. In
fact, if there was ever a time since 1776 for states and local
communities to jealously guard their freedom and independence,
it is now!
