Here's a Photo of the Treehouse Photo taken July 18, 1998. That's my old '78 Lincoln under the carport.. .
. Come on in, pull up a chair, and make yourself at home. . There's fresh coffee in the kitchen, ... pick any of the cups in the cabinet above the coffee maker. . Sugar and creamer are to the right, spoons in the dish drainer. .
. I acquired my first computer, a 486/33 PC in late 1992, hoping that it would soon replace my old Memorywriter and copy machine. (It did! ;-)). . Updated with newer internal hardware and software over the years, *Gadget* now operates Windows 98 with an Intel Pentium 4-3GHz Prescott Microprocessor on an Asus P4P-800E Mainboard with 1GB of DDRAM 3200,Two 120 gigabyte Western Digital ATA hard drives, and a high-speed (1024 Kb/s) cable modem w/ broadband service. That's a 19" NEC Vs Monitor, a HP 720C printer and an Epson 610 Scanner.
Having discovered the wonder of MP3's, I added a SoundblasterLive audio board and a surround-sound speaker system (with two woofers). I also set up hardware to record from records and tape to digital stereo files. My MP3 collection now occupies about 50 Gigabytes of the HD.
