This is my 99 ZRX1100. Bought it
new the first year of production and absolutely love it. It’s been tweaked a bit here and there,
here is a list of the gofast stuff:
Muzzy meg, Ivan’s stage 3 jet kit, ZX11 cams (intake degreed to 103),
gearing change with +2 teeth on aluminum Sprocket specialists rear sprocket,
a pair of Ohlins shocks, and Carl Shoup’s damperless clutch hub. The Corbin seat has been reshaped so much
it hardly qualifies as a Corbin anymore.
Stainless braided front brake
lines and Spiegler ABM rotors provide stopping power. Other add-ons
include a steering damper from a custom made damper mount by a member of the
ZRX Owners Association, uses a stock GSXR
damper, clipon handlebars from
Convertibars, Tsukigi fork brace and rearsets, 45 degree throttle from
Works,
carbon fiber for the top
clamp. A battery lift kit made by a
member of ZRXOA (Ted Dake) enlarges the underseat storage. Also decided to clean up the rear fender with a fender eliminator kit. Another ZRXOA member makes an aluminum
torque arm for the rear brake, goes by Harpoon. Got a polishing bug years ago, there’s a
list for that too: swingarm, chain guard, rim edging, forks, grab handles,
brake/clutch levers, part of the front brake calipers, radiator side tanks,
fork brace, steering damper, rear brake arm and the gas tank. Exhaust was pulled, ceramic coated
black. Started replacing a few nuts
and bolts with titanium from
Titanium Performance. So far, got the fork pinch bolts,
upper/lower triple clamp pinch bolts brake caliper mount bolts, front fender
bolts, fork brace bolts, steering damper c-clamp bolts, top clamp nut and
front rotor mount bolts. If you own
