This is a ' false color ' narrow-band image with Lum and Red = H alpha; Blue = O[III], and Green synthesized by combining H alpha with O[III] via a Photoshop action written by Noel Carboni. This process sacrifices 'real color' in order to reveal the structure of the nebula.
