Due dates can be confusing and even a source of disagreement with your care provider.  Ultrasounds can further confuse your due date, because, if you have had more than one ultrasound, each ultrasound might produce a different due date.  Much of the confusion comes about because care providers don't always explain how due dates are calculated and why they choose a particular due date when more than one is available. 

The information on this website is intended to give pregnant women the knowlege and tools to understand how due dates are calculated and the factors that your care provider considers when selecting a particular due date.  Along with information about due dates, the site contains a Due Date Calculator for finding due dates, a Gestation Calculator for calculating how far along you are in your pregnancy, and a Due Date Countdown Clock that you can use to see how many weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds remain until your due date.
