GIT Basic Sylabus (see latest MI Brochure for up to date
detail)

List above is for 18 month course and contains 3
levels, of 6 months each.
If you do some pre-study as below you may be able
to enter modules at level 2 and come out at level 3, with a one year stay.
Alternatively, if you have the time and money;
attend 18 months and fill-in all gaps.
Another alternative now, if you have 18 months
and have been playing a while, is to come in at level II and do Guitar for 4
quarters, then do Recording or Music Business for 6 months.
If you are thinking about attending MI, then
visit on one of their 'Open House' days to get an overview and arrange a second
visit to try out some real lessons.
Pre-Study
I have worked through many books, but the following are from MI's Essential
Concepts series and will help make any Guitarist a better Musician and Player.
Warning: Some of this can feel like hard work, with many ideas and Exercises,
but will change your perspectives for the better.
