I have been abruptly ordered to remove the MOMS Club of Arizona website

 
They say it's for your good, but I choose to disagree with that

 
For 7 years I have diligently managed this site, processed countless emails and made 100s of phone calls to connect potential members

I thank everyone who helped out over the years - I have a storage file of various wonderful emails I have received from you: from chapters telling me how many of their members came through the site, from chapter contacts excited to tell me that that's how they got involved, and from just members who bothered to write back with thanks because they liked the club so much

I started this site because the site I started for my chapter (Tempe) generated such an enormous volume of mail from all over the state - the nation - even the world. This site helped cut that down to a much more practical flow. I still get several emails a week from moms looking for a chapter - wanting to get out of the house and meet people

It was always my hope to help with that - and that's it - I've been in the club for over 10 years and will be for at least a couple more - I've worked almost every day on this site and the mail it generates  for 7 years - I don't regret the work for a minute. I know I have helped - I'd like to have been allowed to help more.

 

For those several chapters whose sites I host or manage - I am more than happy to continue that. I am also happy to host, manage, or assist in the creation of pages or sites for any other chapters. This is, as all my work is, free of any charge or obligation or anything else. You can even order me to remove the site without a word of thanks and I'll do that too.

My thanks to those who have sent their responses to this - even before I have gotten around to formally telling you all (sorry about that - I left for vacation right after posting the page) - I do very much appreciate your kind words - and I reiterate my offer to host/manage/create/assist more of your sites if you wish. THANK YOU!

WOW - the volume of emails has jumped since I wrote the previous note - it's a bit like being at your own funeral - all sorts of wonderful things being said about my work - despite my repeating it, I really can't emphasize enough how much hearing this means to me 

 

It has been pointed out to me that some people used this site to get to some of the chapter sites - if you need to know a link - please just let me know 

I would also like to reemphasize that any website work I would do for you would be without charge (a chapter just offered to pay me - which makes me smile, but is absolutely unnecessary I assure you)

I might also point out that though the state site was intentionally very basic, I am actually capable of niftier stuff (I won $500 for the design of my older kids' school art program site)
