“When my husband’s discharge from the University of California Irvine Medical Center’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit was in sight, a visit from his Occupational Therapist alerted me to the need to make a number of important modifications to our home. After you installed the ramps I was able to wheel him out of the house to the car with ease. Herb weighs 218 lbs. I am 79 years old and I have no problem going up or going down the ramp. I shouldn’t close without telling you about this little bonus we received. Every morning the newspaper carrier throws our paper on the front porch – impossible for Herb to retrieve. However when the carrier saw the ramps, without being asked he started placing the newspaper by the door – now Herb can get his paper. This makes him feel a little independent.
