He was b. abt 1858. She married 2) WALTER F. CLINE Abt. 1881. He was born 1858 in Pennsylvania, and died 1907.

Cline and the marriage information for Nellie Cline. The Census of 1880 indicates that Matilda and her first husband, Jesse Stoddard, may have had a daughter b.1880, named Essie Stoddard.

Note: Emma Belle Spunaugle was known as "Belle" by the family. The only information about her marriage and daughter that I have is a note written by Ervin Spunaugle, her nephew, on a page also annotated in the handwriting of Ralph Spunaugle, her brother. The note states that Elsie Higby, daughter of "Belle" lived "in Aurora, Nebraska". This has not been confirmed.

He married (1) LONA OCENA STARRETT March 19, 1907, daughter of CHARLES STARRETT in Neillsville, Wisconsin. She was born January 28, 1874 in Springville, Vernon County WI, and died February 01, 1963 in LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital, LaCross WI. He married (2) NELLIE VIOLA MCQUEEN Aft. 1910, daughter of ERASTUS TERRY MCQUEEN and CLARISSA CORDELIA FARLEY. She was born January 1, 1870, in Fulton County IL.
