After awards we returned to the hotel for our final nightly meeting and pizza. Everyone was tired but spirits were high following the events of the evening. Mr. Young thanked everyone who made the trip so successful and then we adjourned for what was left of the night. Like most of the kids, I didn't even try to sleep but many of the chaperones decided to catch an hour's shut-eye before leaving for the airport.

Since I did not travel home with the kids, this effectively wraps up what will likely be my final Dayton Diary (although I said the same thing last year). I'd like to thank Randy and Jana and everyone else for their support in Dayton. Thanks to those of you who emailed me with kind comments about the diary and special thanks to the Angers family for making my trip possible.
