The People of the State of California vs. C. Palmieri Enterprises, Inc., et al

We’re writing this in response to a letter we received from C.J. Palmieri (copy Attached).

We are two of the “victims” of Mr. Palmieri’s indiscretions. We are both retired and trying
to survive on Social Security. Our total income last year was just slightly above “poverty”
level, therefore we do not qualify for any other benefits, neither State nor Federal. This
background information is a prelude to our personal thoughts on Mr. Palmieri’s overture of
reconciliation.

First let us say, we do not condone ANY of Mr. Palmieri’s actions. That said, we must also
state that neither of us have any feelings of animosity toward Mr. Palmieri. At our age we
cannot and will not waste time on hate or malicious thoughts.

By sending you a copy of Mr. Palmieri’s letter, we do not believe we are betraying anyone’s
confidence, as said letter has already been published on the Internet. Some of Mr.
Palmieri’s statements and allegations and innuendoes you may personally find offensive. Just
remember, he’s been incarcerated for quite some time with only his own thoughts to keep
him company so his suspicions, anxieties and trepidation are his only truths. It requires a
secure sense of maturity on our part to accept the fact that what people say about us is
always true----not our truth, but theirs, and equally valid in the final equation of the
personality. We feel that some of Mr. Palmieri’s “truths” may indeed have some validity,
and should be explored. If he indeed has a plan, and the resources to repay all of his
victims…let’s hear about it, if the plan is workable, let’s do it, initiate a restitution program
under the judicious scrutiny of the court, we urge you….. call his bluff. If Mr. Palmieri is
really contrite and his “plan” is valid…we ALL win. This whole thing has dragged on far too
long, we really, really, need all the help we can get, from ALL sides.

To simplify this matter…..…we really don’t care what happens to Mr. Palmieri. He’s
caused a lot of anguish in our lives. Now we have our own fears to live with. All we care
about at this late date is to get our money back…..however this happens..…we do not
care. If Mr. Palmieri has a plan that is executable, NOW…....lets help him carry it out
under the supervision of the court, and if this plan is successfully carried out to the end that
ALL his victims are reimbursed totally…..then slap his wrist, place him on probation,
whatever……WE DO NOT CARE, as long as we have our funds to see us through our
“Winter” years.

We cannot speak for all those whose lives Mr. Palmieri has disrupted, but we’re sure the
majority would like to recover their life’s savings, and forget all about Mr. Palmieri and his
ilk.

We urge you to please, forget about Mr. Palmieri’s harmless, derogatory statements, and
think ONLY of the good you can do for so many of his victims, who, in our hearts, really
don’t care what happens to him as long as we have our funds and Mr. Palmieri is no longer
in our lives.

At least listen to him, keep him under control, and help us GET OUR MONEY BACK!
