Track meet with the Fairfax Police Youth League Track Team at the Chantilly High School Track, starting at 3pm and going until approximately 5pm.
The order of events will be as follows:
50 meter run
100 meter run
Mile Run
200 meter run
800 meter run
400 meter run
4x100 meter relay
The shot put and discus events will be taking place simultaneously on the field.
Each child will be able to run up to two events, and will run either sprint events (50 -200) or distance (400 - mile). Children will not be required to run 2 events if they prefer to run just one. Events will be classified consistently with the breakdown of our pracitce groups:
Boys or Girls
K & 1st
2nd & 3rd
4th & 5th
6th & 7th
8th & up
Ribbons will be awarded to the top 6 finishers in each event in each age group.
