Descendants of William Taylor

I was trying to research my great-grandfather Tooleys paternal lineage, without much luck. So I began researching his mother, Elizabeth Ashby, on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints web page. I found so much more than I expected. The web page led me on a long trail that led all the way back to 16th century Scotland. I'd never heard of the Taylor family prior to this search, but they are a welcome addition to my family tree.
