Butter Dishes

I got the idea to make French Butter Dishes from Dorian at a show in Kingman. These are a great gift, very unique and easy to use. All butter dishes will hold a stick of butter or margarine. They are inverted into the base which holds a little water. The combination of stoneware and moisture keeps the butter cool and soft at the same time. They are $15 each plus shipping.

It's easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Fill the base with 1/2 inch of water.	2. Place stick of butter in lid.	3. Place wrapper on top of butter
4. Pack butter into lid.	5. Make sure there are no air spaces around the edge. The finished butter dish should look like this.	6. Invert packed lid and insert into water filled base.
