What makes it so intriguing is that they have crammed a full-spectrum (red, blue & green) led inside of a standard-sized pen. There's a small microprocessor chip onboard that allows the LEDs to mix and create many different colors. The main body of the pen is very bright and clear, allowing the LEDs to shine around the entire pen, all of the way down to the tip you write with.

It's super simple to use. All you do is twist the bottom of the pen to expose the tip to write, or twist it back to make the tip recess. To operate the light, all you have to do is press the top button in, and it stays on. Press it again, and it goes off. You don't have to have the pen light up to write, so it even looks cool when it's not on!
