Welcome to Dean & Cathy Charles' Cosmic Website. Why Cosmic, you may ask. Well, it beats the heck out of Dean & Cathy's Plain Ol' Website or Boring Website, doesn't it? I set this site up primarily because I got tired of sending people images via e-mail attachment. Now, you can view them here, or totally ignore us, at your pleasure.
You got here by one of two probable means: I told you it was here, or you found it either by searching or by chance. In either case, enjoy your trip into our usually boring, but occasionally interesting lives. The fact of the matter is we have just too darn many hobbies and interests. What that means is that we know a little about a lot, but not a whole lot about anything.
We like to hang out at our second home in Baja. Unfortunately, it's quite a stretch away. We still manage to get there 4 - 5 times a year. We both like old junk, older than us that is. We're packrats by nature. We both like to fish, so there's a separate section on fishing. We met backpacking, so as you can well imagine, we still like to backpack. In good years, we get out 4 times, in bad ones, we get out only two. We go camping too, when time allows. Click on any of the links below and see where it leads!
I have completely re-designed our Cosmic Website. This site is part of the new deanoid.net domain, which is being used for both my websites, so change your bookmarks. The entire Cosmic Website is now up and running. No more ads or other anoyances. It's all on one server. I hope you all like it. Feedback is always encouraged. All the features available on the old site have been retained. I plan to add some features that will include FTP access and hopefully latest trip videos. If you want to find out what's new and read the latest Baja News, you'll have to visit the new site.
From the new site, you can quickly navigate where you want to go from the dropdown menus on the left and go back by just exiting the new windows. I'm keeping this old site on Geocities as a more-or-less mirror. As time goes on, this site will become less of a mirror, as I don't plan to update it much. If you want to keep up to date, you'll need to go to deanoid.net. The switch to a new domain was driven by my running out of free webspace. The fact that webhosting has become so reasonably priced made the decision a no-brainer
