On the Home Front

We're a couple of homebodies, that is when we're home. For a couple of homebodies, we're sure not home an awful lot. When we are, here's where we are

In the kitchen window, we display all the old bottles and insulators that we've acquired over the years. It makes for a beautiful display, if I do say so myself.

We have a water garden in the back yard, affectionately known as Cathy's Swamp. On Christmas Day, 1996, a Great Egret visited and ate all our Goldfish. They don't call 'em feeder goldfish for nothing, I reckon. For 9 cents apiece, it was worth it.

Here he is strutting his stuff.

Occasionally, I make sushi. This layout ought to make your mouth water... or make you barf, depending on whether you like sushi or not!

Cathy likes her turtles. We rescued them from the freezer. Here at the ranch, we now have 9: Three Eastern Box Turtles, 3 Three-toed Box Turtles and 3 youngsters that are now 2 years old and almost ready to go out on the free range. Click on the dancing turtle to see some of the herd.
