After our experience with February fishing last year, we decided to forego the February trip and concentrate on April. We figured that a week would be required to properly concentrate. We left as usual, after work on Friday the 29th of March. Marwan and Pandro were joining us, along with neighbors, Eddie and Donna. When we got there, the weather was beautiful and good fishing beckoned, we predicted. The first couple days, I rode with Eddie while Pandro and Marwan took Cathy's boat out. I left the Leaking Lena on shore. Eddie was the captain while we trolled for Yellowtail out on the seamount.

On Sunday, the 31st, we awoke to a spectacular Baja sunrise. Out on the seamount those first few days, I caught a nice Yellow

So did Eddie.

And Marwan.

Pandro probably caught one too, but I didn't get any photos. He did a good job cutting some of them up though.

All that hard fishing made me tired.
