Back on shore, we cut up some fish.

Out at the islands the next day, we couldn't raise any Yellowtail. We toured the islands a bit on the way back. A Brown Booby checked us out.

Mike and I cruised into the San Luis lagoon.

The Magnificent Frigatebirds cruised overhead, including this male with a wing tag.

His brethren perched nearby.

The Brown Pelicans had their rookery over by the Pinnacles.

With fishing offshore not producing well and gas supplies dwindling, we set our sights on the secret spot. It produced again this Memorial Day. It's not so hot, and therefore not much of a secret, at other times of the year. Scotty dredged up a darn nice Leopard Grouper.
