Mediterranean Pasta with Zucchini

8 oz penne or ziti pasta (whole wheat) uncooked

1 (14 1/2 oz) can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano

1 (15 oz) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained

1 zucchini, sliced

2 TBS sliced ripe olives

 

Cook pasta.  While pasta cooks, combine tomatoes and remaining 3 ingredients in a large skillet; bring to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered 5 minutes.  Spoon tomato mixture over drained pasta.
