Spicy Green Beans

 

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

2 T. reduced sodium soy sauce

2 t. ketchup

1. t. red wine vinegar

1/2 t. hot pepper sauce

1 clove of garlic, minced

1 8oz. can bamboo shoots, drained (optional)

1 t. canola oil

 

Steam green beans until crisp tender

Mix together, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar and hot sauce

Spray non stick skillet, set to medium high heat, add garlic and green beans, stir fry 2 minutes, add sauce mix, cook about 1 minute, add shoots (if using) and oil
