Featuring “Little” Joe
McCarthy on vocals and guitar, even a casual listener can plainly see
where the group’s drive starts. Joe writes many of the group’s original songs
and pretty much calls the shots on stage.
Complementing Joe’s creative guitar solos and vocals is the Big Trouble band, which has gained
critical acclaim as the hardest working rhythm section in
The group has performed in
the Omaha metro area for the past 8 years at a variety of venues including:
Welcome Inn, Doc’s Bar & Grill, McKennas, Stu’s Place, Anchor Inn, Downtown
Blues Club, Sullivans, Dee’s Frontier Bar, Grandmothers, Maggie McCalls, The
Revue, Blair Yacht Club, Whiskey Roadhouse (Horsehoe Casino in CB) and the
“Blues Cruise” aboard Omaha’s River City Star.
Since 2008, the band has
also hooked up with Sue Murray (vocals and guitar) and Jimmy Ray Pearce (vocal
and guitar) to cover more Country & acoustic venues. Together known as

For those of you in need of
a true classic blues fix, the guys occasionally back up Steve George (vocals).
Residing in Des Moines, Steve makes it over to Omaha from time to time to favor
