Measuring 1" by 3/4", these post earrings are handcrafted by the Zuni Indians of New Mexico.  The sterling silver crosses are decorated with tiny hand cut turquoise. The style of the turquoise cut is called 'needlepoint'.  This is because the finished stone resembles the needlepoint stitch used in embroidery.  The Zuni Indians in New Mexico are world renown for this remarkable stonework.
