These brightly colored red coral beads have been heat-treated.  Individual bead average about 8.5mm x 3mm.  Each strand measures 16".     27 strands available.   

 
 
#003  Large Chunky Coral

The sizeable beads here are referred to as 'Coral Red Fabrica Jumbo'. Completely natural, the corals are irregular in shape and pocked.  The coral gradates from approximately 8mm diameters at its ends to 13mm in the center.  A bold and primitive look.  Our cost $58 per strand. 1 strand available.

#007  Lipstick Red Coral Barrels
These lipstick red coral beads are beautiful.  A uniformly rich red and polished, the beads measure 5mm diameter by 9mm. A popular strand and eye-catcher.  Seven of the 24" strands left available.

 
 
#008  Thick Button Coral

These coral beads are dyed a bright red.  The red is brighter in some beads than in others, giving the strand a more interesting and uneven look.  The bead diameters average 9mm while their thickness varies. One 13" strand available.

 
 
#009  Black Spiny Coral

There is an increasing amount of interest in naturally black coral.  These spines average nearly 2" long and 3/16" wide.  Reported to bend into different shapes when soaked in water.  New configurations are retained once dried.  See Lapidary Journal August - September 2000 for a project shaping spines into hoop earrings. 1 of these 18" strands available.

This strand of bright red coral measures 17" long.  The coral is actually white and has been dyed red. These pretty and non-uniform  beads average 9mm in diameter.  1 strand in stock.

 
 
#015  Red Coral Barrel and Rounds 

18" strand is a mix of small chunky barrels and rounds. The coral beads are naturally pocked and smoothed to a shine. Gradated. 1 stand available. 

 
 
#016  Red Dyed Coral  

These beads are white coral that have been dyed red. All beads have a barrel-like shape. However, the size and shapes of these beads vary considerably from stand to strand. These beads were used in Necklace #049 . Fifteen 15" strands available.

 
#017  Red and Nubby Coral 

These barrel-like and nubby coral beads vary considerably in size and shape.  Originally white, the coral pieces have been dyed red.  The color differs slightly from bead to bead.   Four 16" strands available.

These thick branchy corals are more of a fleshy salmon pink than the image portrays.  These unusual corals are available in 16" strands.  2 strands available.

 
 
#020  Cherry Teardrops   

Dyed a cherry red, these coral pieces are shaped as teardrops.  Beads graduate in length from approximately 13mm to 8mm.  Silvery clear tubes separate the coral pieces.  Two 16"strands available.

 
#021  Bright Red Spiny Coral

These beautiful bright red spiny corals make up two 20" strands.  The spines are a natural red and graduate in length from approximately 45mm to 6.5 mm. 2 strands available.

These naturally colored orange-red coral spines graduate in length from 30mm to 9mm.  Two 18" strands available.

 
 
#025  Corn Kernel Coral    

This coral has been dyed a bright red.  There is some color variation and imperfections amongst the beads, giving them a more rudimentary appearance.  making them look less which lend them a more true and primitive .  Each piece of coral averages 7mm x 8mm.  There are 2 of these 15" strands available.  Similar beads were used in the creation of Necklaces #014, #061 and #075.
