John has installed a 94 Corsica V-6. He say the extra power is great and so is the fuel economy. He can run the trails in 2nd and 3rd gears with no trouble.

He mounted the radiator up front. He says the water pump has no problem with this. It also looks really clean.
This is where you can see much more of John and his friends.

I don't have any info on this car, but it's a nice looking squareback.
Sorry, they didn't send any info with the pic. They refer to it as their beater, but it appears to be getting along pretty well.

You can see more of his car at Blind Chicken Racing

This is me "doing it for the crowd" at a tough truck meet here in
Oklahoma...
I say "doing it for the crowd" since they only let me run as exhibition
because I wasn't four wheel drive!! Oh Well the crowd still loved it
!!!!
Sorry for the poor quality of the pics. They are photos of the video my
wife took..
See Ya,,,, Paulie F.

I thought I would send you some pics of my 73 baja. Also some of my '69 homebuilt rail buggy. Both have single port 1600 motors, stock twisted beams and dual rear shocks.I got lucky with buying the cars and got both for $100 ! Along with 3 motors and a bunch of other parts. Total Investment:$490
What a Deal!!!
This shot was taken in the Black Hills. The mist in the trees makes for a cool picture.

A couple of jump picks from the Bad Lands of South dakota.
Another pic from the Black Hills.

Here are some pictures of my 73 Baja in action. It's basically stock but has held up very well over the years of abuse. It has welded in adjusters up front with urethane bushings and coil over shocks. The rear at the time had coil overs as well but I have since blown 3 of the 4 out. The rear is stock with reset torsion bars and urethane bushings all the way around. At the time of the pics it had a 1600 dual port, it now has a 1641 dual port with KYBs in the rear. I usually go out with the Jeeps and trucks as you can see in a couple of the pics. I'm currently working on my next project, a 63 Ragtop, bought it for $150 as a Baja with no motor. Have plans for 3x3 in the rear and widened in the front with Bilstein at all 4 corners to start. Not that it will ever be finished, because they never are, it will have full roll cage, Beard seats, bus tranny, 091, 28 MM torsion bars, SAW spring plates and widened adjustable beam with long trailing arms up front. I'll send pics of it as I go, it has already been converted to IRS and has the 28MM bars and SAW spring plates.
Thanks,
Paul
This is his baja set up as a high boy.

Here it is after installing a new baja kit.
This is a shot perched on a dirt mound.
The car has
quite a few good upgrades which include turned front end, coil overs on
all corners, one inch spacers on all corners( to give it much better
handleing), the motor is a 1776 with a single 40 IDF, Bus tranny with 31
inch tires gives the proper gearing. I have since added two 3" air duct
tubes going from each side of the air cleaner to the headers. This helps
greatly to atomize the gas in the cold weather. I
could go on for hours rattling on about the car. I cant tell you how
much your site has perked my interest in bajas, enough to go and make
one...
Matt
Thanks Matt. I'm glad the site has inspired you. That is what it's here for, to try to keep the baja sport alive. I look foward to seeing more shots of your car.
Desert Stomper

Hi, my name is Saul. My friend and I built the car from the ground up over the past 2 years or more , getting ready to put combo spindles on. Broke the reinforced stock spindle, driver side. Common thing, done it twice. love driving this baja.
