Nancy is lucky enough to live about 5 miles from the Oregon coast. She has three four wheel drives (we forgive you), but she prefers her baja for playing in the dunes
Scot's new ride is the yellow rail. He sold his baja and built this rail (traitor).
From the left, Rich's Toyota powered rail, his sons quad, Scot's Rail, and my car.
Check out the Dumont page for the whole story and 24 pics.
The next several shots were taken on my trip to Dumont. There were several bajas out there, unfortunately I was usually driving when I saw them. But here's what I managed to get shots of.
This baja was rolled on competition hill on previous trip to the dunes. They kinda pounded it back into shape and continue having a blast with it.
The rear window reads end over end racing.

This baja belongs to Fig and is powered by a Mazda RX7 rotary engine. Fig had it dynoed to setup the computor and says it putting 223 horses to the ground. Believe me this thing had no problem going where ever it wanted.

This guy had a nice baja. He buzzed me a couple of times while I was on this hill taking pics of my car. I managed to snap these shots as he went buy. I don't know anything about the car, but he was definitly having a good time.

John was at the Moses Lake sand dunes for the annual sand drags and ran across this one in the dunes. He doesn't recall the guys name, but thinks he said he lives in the kent area, just outside seattle. He's had this for years, the pan was under his brothers dune buggy and they shortened a body to go back under the car

You can see more of dave's car on his Page.
