Windsor, Connecticut, in 1652 and settled at Northampton, Massachusetts some
three years later has been a problem of interest to his descendants. Extensive
researches made in England in 1920 & 1921 by the writer of this article (J.
Gardner Bartlett),for Mr, Frank Sheldon of Newton, Mass., revealed an Isaac
Sheldon of parish of Bakewell in Derbyshire, who seems beyond a reasonable
