What happens if the item is out of stock?
We agree that if the item is out of stock, we
must provide a refund promptly, but in no case later than thirty (30)
days following the close of the sale.

I do not want to have a packing slip or a receipt.
Can you accommodate this?
We do have a problem with this. The packing slip provides a second copy of
the delivery address if the packaging becomes separated from the product.
Our experience of the post office is that they occasionally destroy packages
and the packing slip is necessary.
We do not, however, include any kind of receipt. There is no indication of
the price paid for the book, if it is intended as a gift.
In this day and age, we try to make packages as secure as possible. You may
have us sending something to someone who has not requested it and does not
know who has sent it. How secure would you feel to receive such a package?
We do not wish to be a party to any transaction where the players do not
wish to self-identify.

Can you ship my item to a different address?
Amazon's policy is that sellers should only ship to the address given. If
the item were shipped to a different address,
the Amazon A-to-z Guarantee would not apply. This guarantee protects
both buyers and sellers against fraud.
If the item has not yet been shipped, you may cancel the order. This will
allow you to update your address on Amazon and repurchase it.

How long will it take for me to get my item?
We agree to ship within 2 business days of your purchase. Expected
transit times for each shipping method are listed below.

My item hasn’t arrived. How long should I wait before e-mailing
you?
Please wait until the maximum estimated delivery date. If the cause is
because of a delay in shipment, we will ship via USPS Priority Mail and
refund your shipping and handling fees.
If the item was
mailed, you
will receive a copy of the postal receipt and, if applicable, the
delivery confirmation number. All complaints of non-delivery must be
filed through Amazon’s A-z Guarantee program.

What happens if what I received isn’t what I ordered or has been
damaged?
If you receive an item different than what was described,
or that
is clearly in worse condition than indicated, then it is "materially
different." We take the time to individually assess each item, so that
description will be used in evaluating whether the product is materially
different.
All of our items have a handwritten or computer generated inventory
label affixed to their spine. Additional damage to the item may be
caused by this sticker or the removal of it. This attribute is not
specifically stated in our individualized item comments. We hope you
understand that you are buying a used item.
To be eligible for a refund, you must return your item in
the same condition you received it, and the return must be postmarked
within 30 days of shipment. Further, contrary to Amazon’s guidelines, we
refund your postage expense at USPS Media

rate with Delivery Confirmation.

What happens if I simply changed my mind?

requests the refund, how long does it take Amazon to issue it?
Refunds are typically
processed by Amazon within one week. The funds will be deposited back in

Why aren’t you
responding to my e-mail?
There is no excuse, really, but here is the truth: We’re
swamped. Diana’s Books is a tiny nonprofit organization, sporadically
staffed by volunteer(s). Some volunteer work is easier than others, and
researching problem transactions is more difficult. Please note that
Amazon gives Sellers five (5) days to respond to an Amazon A-z Guarantee
claim. We ask for a similar grace period. Thank you in advance for your
